The University of New Mexico Occupational Therapy Graduate Program (UNM-OTGP) is a New Mexico AgrAbility Partner. The UNM-OTGP will support all AgrAbility activities where occupational therapy can benefit individuals and families who want to enter or maintain work in agricultural production. UNM-OTGP services include:
Direct assistance in partnership with NMTAP to complete on-site farm visits to identify accommodations for living and working on farms
Consultation and technical assistance in partnership with Mandy's Farm to identify custom solutions for farm apprentices
Education to health professionals in providing culturally competent services to farming and ranching families
Training of occupational therapy students for fieldwork and professional rotations
